Joking, but there are rules

WhenTalking| Social networks like facebook, twitter and others, should be used as a useful of media, but not the least the people who do not or are less liable to abuse as mere sensation, or because of ignorance of the person, Because of its that we as users must be vigilant and do not easily believe a word that is not necessarily proven true, as was the case last February, According to Twitter, the man who plays Mr. Bean is said to have died.

Nowadays, with the vast influence of the media in our lives and with the widespread use of social networking sites it is quite easy to spread news, information, quotes, and even Gossips. In America, people woke up today learning from the top news That Mr. Bean was dead. Rowan Atkinson known for his role as Mr. Bean in television and as Agent Johnny English on movies was rumored dead. Fortunately, many have realized and learned That the news is false. However, how did it start?

A message posted on Twitter become a trending topic "RIP Rowan Atkinson. "By a Filipino twitter user named Michael Robert Meras Because the which he regretted afterwards he was bombarded with questions and harsh comments Because of his bad sense of humor.

He wrote: "Shutting down now. Sorry guys, RIP Rowan Atkinson was just a joke. Sorry for that matter, I never thought That it would be viral. We <3MrBean. "

The <3 sign is that of a heart and the message means “We love you Mr. Bean.”

If you are going to search in Google the name Rowan Atkinson it would generate a lot of hits pertaining to his death so people do take these types of false news seriously!!!
Now that’s one way of getting fame but I am pretty sure that is not good publicity and there are better ways to get attention.  We are grown adults that should know our limits when it comes to sharing sensitive issues. Be responsible for your own actions.

Railway Therapy in Indonesia

WhenTalking| Rail is the path used for train transportation are made of long steel, and this pathway was very dangerous to pass arbitrary, because the train is not like a car that can stop easily, because it's a lot of very tragic accident victim who was hit by a train that does not can stop. but this is different

You might think you’re on the track to better health but people in Rawa Buaya, Indonesia, have taken “training” to the next level. Villagers there believe if they lie down on the railway  tracks, electrical energy carried within the steel rails will end their suffering… that is, if an onrushing train doesn’t do it first.

 Fast Track To Good Health?
Illnesses often start with infection by a single pathogenic bacteria or virus which then spreads, er, “virally.” Such is also the case with rumors, and in Indonesia we have a curious, coincidental case of a rumor about a miracle cure spreading virally and expanding into an epidemic of shared beliefs.
It’s known as Railway Therapy  or Electric Therapy, and both terms combine to describe the dangerous practice of undergoing various degrees of electrical shocks from contact with railroad tracks.
According to Al Jazeera, who sent on-scene reporter Step Vaessen to Rawa Buaya on the outskirts of Jakarta, Indonesia, to document the odd phenomenon, people of all ages are flocking to nearby railway tracks to get a free hit of electric therapy. Those who have experienced it believe that electricity absorbed from the metal rails can alleviate, even cure, a host of health problems including hypertension, diabetes, rheumatism, gout, obesity and high cholesterol.

Here’s Vaessen’s video report, and kudos to her for risking her health by lying down on the hot rails – pretty much the opposite of the local folks’ intentions.
One wonders what the natives thought about Vaessen “doing like the Romans do”… perhaps it reinforced their distrust of Western medicine. Nice going there, Al Jazeera.
How did it all begin? The apocryphal anecdote that sparked (sorry) this frightening fad seems innocent enough: a man from Rawa Buaya (some say he was a taxi driver) had suffered and stroke which left him partially paralyzed. Unable to work and severely depressed after several physicians were unable to improve his condition using conventional treatments, he decided to end it all by lying down on the nearby train tracks.
While waiting for the next train to trundle along and end his misery, the man suddenly realized he wasn’t feeling quite so miserable. While versions of the story don’t exactly state the cabbie leaped up and began tap-dancing to his own whistled accompaniment, rumors of the man’s surprising and FREE cure spread like wildfire. Before long, increasing numbers of people began “riding the lightning” in Rawa Buaya, looking for their own lil’ hit of that locomotive ‘lectricity!

Not Your Father’s Electroshock Therapy
Trains are a popular and ubiquitous form of transportation in Indonesia’s populous urban areas, especially around the capital of Jakarta. Spiderwebs of train tracks spiral out from the city center, linking the inner city with rural and suburban neighborhoods, and often passing through slums where ramshackle housing nestles up to railroad infrastructure. Not only is Railway Therapy free, it’s convenient as well… but does it actually work?
According to Sri Mulyati  it works just fine, thank you, especially when compared to 13 years of ineffective treatments for her diabetes prescribed by expensive doctors. As her body twitched and convulsed with electric current that heralded an approaching train, the 50-year-old Mulyati leaped to safety while stating “I’ll keep doing this until I’m completely cured.”
Besides the aforementioned and largely discredited electroshock treatment, electrical therapy has been known to offer some benefits in the case of certain illnesses. What’s more likely in Indonesia is that people who claim to feel better are at their wit’s end to find effective and affordable cures for their ailments – the trains are their last resort. Call it a placebo effect born of desperation.
While rumors of the practice’s beneficial effects continue to spread owing to a critical mass of proponents who report improvements in their condition, at the same time there have been no reports of people adversely affected, either by the electricity or by a wayward train. Judging from the age and infirmity of the people and the nearness of the track switch above, however, we’re guessing the ultimate miracle cure is just one missed signal away.

Engine Near…
Now just to set the record straight, the Indonesian trains whose tracks are attracting the nation’s tired, poor, huddled masses who yearn to breathe free (among other things) are electrically powered but not in the manner of, say, the New York Subway. That’s why the Rawa Buaya rail-sitters feel mere tingles and not the fatal jolt of the third rail.
No, the power comes from above… not in the way you’re probably thinking, but through overhead cables. Even so, some small fraction of those massive megavolts gets into the rails through the conductive metal bodies, chassis and wheels of the passing trains.
How much power? It depends on many factors: the nearness of the train, the humidity of the air, possibly even the number of people on the tracks getting juiced. The uncertainty involved in the exercise has governmental and corporate authorities worried about being held responsible in case of the inevitable injury(s), which has led to the police posting warning signs at the most popular train therapy locations.
Though threats of penalties of up to three months in prison or fines of $1,800 have reduced the numbers flocking to the railway tracks, people still come and no one has been arrested yet. Times are tough for the state-run railroad company, which can’t afford to secure huge stretches of unguarded track from unwanted visitors.
Desperation is the mother of invention, however, and Indonesia’s state-sponsored health system has suffered from severe under-funding over the past dozen years since Suharto, the country’s longtime dictator, was overthrown. “They told us not to do it anymore, but what else can I do?,”  explained Hadiwinoto (above, top), who like many Indonesians uses just one name. The 50-year-old has had trouble walking since suffering a debilitating stroke, and his only hope is the glimmering of the steel rails in the hot afternoon sun. “I want to be cured,” said Hadiwinoto, “so I have to come back.” Mr. Conductor, all aboard!!

The Benefits of Waking Up Early

WhenTalking| Becoming an early riser has many benefits. Although not many people are morning persons by choice, some people do decide to make it a lifetime habit.

This puts the early riser at an advantage simply because he or she is willing to develop a difficult yet rewarding habit that can have a profound effect upon their daily success and well-being.

To help you get a better idea of the world of an early riser, listed below are six benefits of making waking up early a daily habit.

1. Increased Productive Time
By developing the habit of waking up early in the morning and becoming an early riser, there are more things that you can get done in a day. This is true even if you start rising just thirty minutes to an hour earlier than you do now.

For instance, let’s say you decide to wake up an hour earlier. If you look at that time over a period of a week, that’s seven hours now available to you that were spent getting “extra” sleep. Imagine what you could do with seven extra hours every week.

The possibilities are now endless. With a few extra hours every week you can work on something you’re passionate about. You can work on achieving a goal that you never really have the time for when you come home from work in the evenings.

2. Positive Mental Attitude
You will find that the earlier you wake up and get a jumpstart on your day, the better your overall attitude will be. You’ll also find that you can better hold that positive mental attitude throughout the rest of the day. It’s a great feeling to have.

Of course, this all depends on what you decide to do once you wake up early. Simply getting out of bed and wasting that precious time won’t do much for your attitude. However, if wasting time is a morning goal of yours, then go right ahead.

Waking up early is one thing, but waking up early with a purpose can really keep you motivated for the rest of your day.

By developing a habit of waking up with a purpose and cultivating gratitude for another day, every day, you’ll begin to see a positive shift in your attitudes. A clear purpose and daily gratitude during the morning is essential for developing a positive mental attitude.

3. More Quality Rest
As you learn to wake up at a fixed time every morning, you may end up going to bed earlier since your body will begin to adapt to your new schedule. This shouldn’t be a problem for most people, especially since it’s easy for that late night time to be spent wastefully on unproductive activities.

Because of the body’s adaptation, you may find that you have more quality night rests than you’ve had before. This may not apply for everyone, but for some people, the earlier they get to bed the more restful they are in the morning.

As the evenings progress, your body will clearly indicate when it is ready for rest. This kind of adaptation is set in place so that you can get all of the necessary requirements for a goodnight’s rest, while adopting a new wake-up routine.

4. Increased Confidence
An added bonus to waking up early may include an increase in your self-confidence. You may notice that the earlier you wake up the more prepared and ready you are to engage the day.

This is an extra boost for your own sense of self-confidence and self-reliance that arises from developing the habit of getting out of bed and being more productive early and throughout the day.

Also, by being more prepared each day, you’ll develop a sense of self-
assuredness for being able to tackle any problem that may come your way. This is a product of being a lot more focused and having a greater sense of purpose and well-being during the day.

There is a certain sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes when you know that you’ve risen earlier than most people and got a lot more done.

5. Quietude
There’s not much going on in the morning compared to the rest of the day. There are probably three times more night owls then there are early birds. This is great for those that love the stillness that the morning brings, as it’s one of the most calming things you can ever experience.

In that peace and quiet of the early morning when everyone else around you is still snoring away, you can meditate, read, pray, do yoga, visualize your goals, or some other activity that quiets your mind and body and inspires you.

It’s almost as if the morning was specifically made for people to get connected with their inner-being before engaging the outside world.

6. Early Bird Benefits
By becoming an early bird you not only have the benefits of enjoying what the morning hours have to offer, but you also get to enjoy the first fruits that the day has to offer.

For instance, you now have the opportunity to beat the traffic on your way to work. This can greatly reduce your stress levels and help you to perform better on your job or in your company.

Another benefit is breakfast. And this is a benefit because some people wake up so late that they must either enjoy a low-quality meal or simply skip breakfast altogether because of the lack of time.

By waking up early, not only can you finally enjoy your breakfast but you can also enjoy one that is hearty and nutritional. This morning fuel has the potential to keep you energized and focused towards having a productive day.

wake up early is fun
, what about you... ?????

Tips : Night Driving

WhenTalking| Tips : Night Driving  Between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. is the riskiest time for crashes, because there are fewer drivers yet more accidents than any other time of the day. Upcoming holidays may put you in situations where you want to drive through the night to get somewhere, but if you do intend to drive at night, there are some important considerations to keep in mind. Safe night driving requires preparation, alertness, and a heavy dose of common sense.
Make sure your headlights are properly aimed. Check with your car's service manual or a professional for the proper procedure. Also make sure all other lights work.

Keep your headlights and windshield clean. Being able to see other cars and be seen by other drivers helps a lot! If it's bug season, stop and wipe them off at each break.

Don't overdrive your headlights. Especially when driving on smaller roads without reflector strips, follow a four-second rule. Take note of where the far reach of your low beams are, then count four seconds. If you pass that original place in less than four seconds, then you are going too fast. Two to three seconds may be an acceptable range for major highways with reflector strips. Remember that posted speed limits are for driving in daylight with dry road conditions.

Use high beams wisely. The use of high-beam headlights when there isn't oncoming traffic can extend the time that you have to react to hazards. Never use your high beams because the high beams of the oncoming car stay on. This will only increase the chances of a head-on crash.

Don't look at oncoming headlights. Focus on the edges of oncoming traffic and bright objects, as staring directly into headlights can blind you for up to five seconds until your eyes adjust.

Look around. Keep your eyes moving from side to side, rather than focusing only on the centerline and the road ahead, to help your eyes stay adjusted to the dark and avoid falling victim to "highway hypnosis," a state in which reaction time is greatly impaired.

Wear sunglasses during the day. Wearing sunglasses during bright days helps keep your eyes more sensitive for driving in the dark.

Always carry flares or reflectors for a breakdown. Keep them in a place where they can be easily accessed in an emergency.

If you're tired, get off the road and sleep. If you feel sleepy, caffeine can never be a substitute for sleep, nor is loud music or rolling down the windows. Pull over and rest, and stop every two hours for a break out of the car even if you're not feeling sleepy. Don't set out on a trip tired. Change your schedule and get some rest first.

Another important reminder: This time of the year, when days suddenly get much shorter due to the end of Daylight Saving Time, more pedestrians are out walking in the dark during peak evening traffic hours. "Drivers have to be especially careful now, because pedestrian fatalities have been shown each year to quadruple during the period just after Daylight Saving Time ends," said Jim Rink of AAA Michigan, citing an American Journal of Public Health report. Remember to turn your headlights on by dusk and slow down!

hopefully you safe while on the road at night
